Extremely Rotten Productions and Seed of Doom Records presents the long-awaited split 7" between German death grinders DEAD and Danish death metal fiends UNDERGANG
Long time on its way, this underground collaboration between two of Europe's slimiest grinding death metal bands see a perfect fit with this heavy release in the form of 1 new exclusive track from each of the bands.
About the DEAD song "Missile to Uranus" Dani Dead had this to add:
"The track "Missile to Uranus" was recorded in July 2015 - during the recording session for our album "A dirty mind is a joy forever". As you can see it took a long time to release it finally, hahaha.
The title itself was inspired by the PC game "Mass Effect". In that game, you could explore several planets. When I chose Uranus the game asked me
"Are you sure???" That was a nice gag and made me laugh a lot...so I had to combine something with "Uranus"..."
About the UNDERGANG song "Blodhøst" D. Mikkelsen adds this slice of information:
"BLODHØST" was a song originally written by UNDERGANG back when the band for a short period of time was only a duo in 2016 or so, we then recorded the song with an, at the time, new 3 piece line-up back in 2017 and then later decided to re-record it when that line-up didn't end up lasting. We then entered a new studio to re-record it with our current stronger line-up in February 2019 and it is the second studio recording we've done as a 4 piece and shows the band in its raw and slimy sonically self-disemboweling re-born identity.
The split release between our fiends in DEAD and UNDERGANG has therefore been a long time on the way and we're happy that it's finally unearthed and available.
So sit back, enjoy, repulse and repeat.
